Privacy policy
1. Scope
PartyPick processes only the data required to recommend a shared game: public SteamID, name, avatar, game library, and playtime.
2. Data we process
Sign-in uses Steam OpenID. PartyPick never receives your Steam password or access to private account data.
3. Sources
Profile, library, and friends data is cached for up to 24 hours. Library snapshots are deleted after 30 days; anonymous lobbies after 7 days and saved lobbies after 30 days.
4. Purposes and legal bases
The store country is saved in the browser and lobby only for regional prices. It does not change the Steam account region; Steam shows the final price.
5. Storage and retention
A lobby link grants access to its members and results. Votes are stored locally in the browser and may be included in the URL fragment.
6. Sharing and processors
IP addresses are not stored in PostgreSQL. A short-lived irreversible hash is used in Redis only for rate limiting.
7. International transfers
PartyPick is not affiliated with Valve, does not build advertising profiles, and does not sell personal data.
Cookies and storage
Sign-in uses only necessary HttpOnly sessions. Language, lobby drafts, and votes stay in your browser. No advertising or analytics cookies are used right now.
